Why We Started This
EmotiSpeak Ireland Ltd began because we noticed something troubling. People struggle to describe what they’re feeling. Not because they lack emotions — everyone feels deeply. But when someone asks “How are you?” the answer often stops at “fine” or “stressed.” That’s where it dies.
We’ve worked with thousands of people across Ireland who couldn’t distinguish between frustration and disappointment, between anxiety and excitement. They’d use the same three words over and over. And because they couldn’t name their feelings, they couldn’t address them. Communication broke down. Relationships suffered. Nothing changed.
So we built something different. Our courses aren’t about positive thinking or meditation mantras. We’re teaching emotional vocabulary — the actual words you need to describe your internal landscape. We’re helping you recognize the difference between similar emotions so you can respond appropriately. And we’re creating a daily practice that makes emotional awareness automatic, not something you have to remember to do.
The work’s been real. We’ve watched people have genuine breakthroughs when they finally realize “that’s not anger, that’s disappointment” or “I’m not overwhelmed, I’m excited.” That shift in language creates a shift in understanding. And that understanding changes everything.
